A Little About Nicole -

My interest in success has always been a personality trait of mine. Growing up in poverty and sometimes being homeless, helped me decide at young age that I controlled my future and it didn’t have to be what my childhood was like.

I strived for perfect grades, to be friends with all types of people, and push myself athletically. My first grade lower than A happened in Graduate School, so needless to say I was a perfectionist in my schoolwork. After playing literally every sport imaginable, including wrestling (yes I was on the wrestling team in middle school), I chose Soccer as my one true passion sport. Soccer was my escape from my home life. It also developed my passion for athletics and fitness.

After high school and early into college, I got married. I was young and had no real influence or advisor to tell me otherwise. I made that decision on my own. It was not a healthy marriage at all. I became a person I could barely recognized anymore and it took several years for me to finally leave that marriage behind. I felt like an extreme failure, but that made me fight harder. I wanted to look in the mirror and see the vision of the woman I wanted to be when I grew up as a little girl, and so my mission started.

I went to Liberty University for college and I was hired onto a large national bank and quickly promoted to the youngest branch manager in the entire company. After that I was promoted onto a team that impacts company change, once again the youngest person on my team with colleagues with 20+ years in the industry. My career in corporate leadership and executive consulting is something I truly love. Once my career gain stability, I began to realize I had let myself fail in my physical well-being. Thus, launched my weight loss journey.

I started my journey at 237 pounds at a height of 5’2”. Extremely unhealthy.  I could not  run a mile or do a push up or sit up. I took action. I began my journey and lost the weight. If you follow me on Instagram or any social media, you know that I had my failures, setbacks, pauses, and successes. I’ve pushed myself through many challenges, including cancer. I stayed positive even when it’s hard, and nothing motivates me more than to feel like I have motivated at least one person. I am proud to say I competed in my first few NPC shows and was Nationally Qualified and placed top 3 in each show. Currently, I am in a competition prep for another show early in 2024. Below is just one photo of my success. Follow me on Instagram for all pictures of progress- @Motivatedbynicole
